FN801A-16S is a low-power MP3 audio decoder chip. It has an internal 0.5W amplifier that can directly drive a 0.5W 8ohm speaker. This chip provides the communication ports to a SPI flash memory, so it is perfect to work with an external SPI flash memory chip. And it provides two key input ports, so users can easily connect them to two button/switches without using an external MCU. Also it provides USB communication ports, so uses can make a connection to computer easily for loading sound files onto the SPI flash chip. Users can set the desired key trigger mode/function and volume level by setting parameters in a configuration file. The chip design is simple, fully functional and easy to use. It does not require complex peripheral circuits, saving users design time and greatly reducing production costs. This chip can be widely used in greeting cards, gift boxes, toys, and etc.
